There's your method, and then
there's the correct one. Matters
of black and white, right or
wrong. Gay, straight. Rich, poor.
You're either with us, or ag'in us.
Isms and such. Science or religion.
Truth, lies. Pro, anti.
Us, them. All or nothing at all.
Tears in God's eyes
from laughing so hard
at ways we find
to categorize and polarize
what we don't understand,
what we can't, what we weren't
supposed to even try to,
in the first place.
