Fatty Goo

The cussing dad in Christmas Story saw
the FRAGILE stamp upon the box that
held his lamp, the one appearing like a shapely
female leg, and thought it was a foreign word.
"Fra- jee- lay," he pronounced it, and we
smile each time we see it now, remembering
the line, the lamp, the perfect script that pairs
a silly tale with sweetness, double-dog-dares and
bullies coming to an understanding of what
karma really means. I'm feeling just a little fragile
at the moment, too, multitude of strings all pulling
me to varying degrees. But even more, I'm feeling
fatty goo, if spoken as it looks. Fatigue, from French
for tired, inspiring dreadful poem and not much else.
