There's always those
whose level shows
adults did all the labor,
but we keep it simple here.
It's not pretty, either,
but it's done on time,
a little early, even.
If it makes it
to the teacher,
marked at least a C,
well, praise the Lord.
I may have set the bar
too high when mine
were coming up
but now that I'm a Nana,
we go with reality.
